There is more to Voxon than voices!
We look after every stage of production without leaving anything to chance: from copywriting to translation and adaptation, from voice talent recording and also mastering, even on video.

We give a boost to your ideas
Sport radio, E-learning, documentaries, jingles, and much, much more.
We have been providing audiovisual projects for over 20 years, always with passion, and always
working alongside the customer to transform every request into a fantastic adventure.
-
Voice Casting
Voxon has a catalogue of over 200 voice artists to listen to - all of them are wonderful, but not all of them will be suited to your particular project. Our goal is always to identify a group of voice artists who, in terms of vocal timbre, interpretative characteristics and - why not - “price”, will be suited to your production. You tell us what you need from a voice artist and we will find and select at least three candidates for you to choose from.
-
Transcripts
If your video or audio needs to be transformed into a script or text, we can provide you with a transcription service. During the conversion process, we take care to respect the times needed to synch the works and the pronunciation of particular terms, so that you can have a script that is ready for translation and subsequent recording.
-
Personalised Demos
We create specialist demos using one or more voice artists who record up to 100 words of your script so that you can proceed to narrow down your choices. With a conference call or a simple phone call, we can share all aspects of the recording: style, rhythm, pronunciation, etc. Nothing will be left to chance and we always proceed with our recordings once we have in place all of the elements that will guarantee the best quality result.
-
Translation and adaptation
Localisation is not just translating; it means looking in detail at the problems with the project, understanding the language, and transforming it into the destination language so it is clear and effective. Translators need to take into account the fact that the text is being conceived for reading and that the message to convey must remain the same, in spite of any cultural and language differences. They need to be able to offset any increases or reductions to the text if the job requires the audio to be synchronised with a video. At Voxon we only work with certified professionals (translators, adapters, and voice artists), who are located all over the world.
-
Briefing
For us it is important to hold a briefing with our clients before we proceed with production. This is the stage when you set out your expectations, where we talk about style, rhythm and the emotional tone of the voice over. In this way, we can achieve the desired result from the outset. It is also our priority to make sure that the script allows us to provide you with a job that is perfect for you and delivered in the least amount of time possible. This is why, before the briefing, we make a test reading to find any typos, imprecisions or words with specific pronunciation.
-
Dubbing and synchronisation
When it comes to dubbing, precision is not an option; it is an essential condition for quality results. The first - and fundamental - step is to identify the most suitable cast: voice types that are as close as possible to the age and attributes of the characters; voices that are able to convey emotion and involve the spectator, whether this is a film, a TV series or an interview. We manage the direction for dubbing, lip syncing and mixing in our Florence studios, using agile but absolutely precise work methods.
-
Voice registration, including in live session
Voxon gives you the opportunity to follow recording sessions from the comfort of your own office and to give your input directly to the voice artist; a dedicated live session, where you become the director! Thanks to new technology, we have been able to perfect these processes and cancel out distance-related problems, which means we can make adjustments and corrections while the work is ongoing, as well as find the mood and style required of the project for excellent recording results.
-
Retakes and Updates
If the file does not meet your requirements, we will carry out a retake, free of charge. If you find any errors that are due to us, we will of course record the project again at no extra charge, but if you require changes or additions to your text, we will need to open a new job order, although we do try to keep the costs down by only working on those parts in need of changes.

Cleaning, editing, mastering. Every project has a happy ending
Audio post production is the stage in the job that takes place in the studio and is between the recording and broadcasting of your project via the different destination media. This is perhaps the stage that needs the greatest skill and attention. Every detail of the voice recording is examined and even the most imperceptible imperfections, starting with breaths or clicks, are removed. At Voxon we are really fussy and our sound engineers won’t let any disturbance or background noise get past them. As well as complete control of the very latest software, we also have all the experience needed to define the perfect balance between voice, music and sound effects so that we can proceed with any type of mixing.
We guarantee full compliance with all broadcasting standards, whether for traditional media such as radio, cinema and TV , or for more modern and specific means, such as digital receptionists or in-store messaging, and devices for audio guides or gaming.
